Valiant Community Outreach Program Saves Woman from Added Storm Damage

This week, a winter storm brought strong winds and heavy precipitation.  With temperatures above freezing, the combination left a coat of incredibly heavy snow and ice over the New England region.  A woman in a local Massachusetts town was left with an enormous top half of a pine tree suspended over her home, and various branches scattered all over her property.

This unfortunate event would’ve cost thousands of dollars in damage.  It was imminent that the tree would break loose and fall onto her house, causing potentially catastrophic damage and injuries.  The project required the assistance of industry-specific equipment.

The Valiant team – as a part of their Community Outreach program – came to the aid of the woman with tree removal equipment and cherry pickers.  The team volunteered several hours cutting down the broken piece of the tree while carefully avoiding any added damage to the property.  In the end, the woman avoided thousands of dollars in tree removal and home damage, but most importantly she was able to safely re-enter her home.
